At some point you will be facing adversity in your  life if you are living any type of life. Losing weight, studying in school, being competitive….. Any myriad of things will provide adversity, the key is, how will you respond? Adversity can cause you to think of making a choice that you otherwise would have never thought of making. When things are not going your way and it seems like the world is against you start to feel sorry for yourself, sad, depressed and that you might as well give up. How do you respond?  Simply putting one foot in front of the other is moving in the right direction. If you quit now, what are you setting yourself up for? Failure is not an option. One day you may be someone’s husband or someone’s father, will you quit on him or her when all seems lost? Life is never going to be easy and nor should it be. Strife builds character, and difficult times build strong people. Hard times in our lives are our opportunities to shine. Do something extraordinary, and prove the detractors wrong.

Now, I don’t have all the answers to life. How to deal with each situation, and the effects it can have on your life. I do know a couple of lessons I have learned the hard way though. Your mindset will dictate your direction in life.  Once you create a positive mindset, the rest of your world will fall inline. The bumps in the road that would get you so upset in your past don’t seem as big anymore. You know they are nothing but opportunities.

So move forward with your life and don’t stress about facing adversity in your future.
